About

Work directly with the person leading the project

imash is a software consultancy run by Elaman Imashov. Elaman scopes the work and stays involved from the first conversation through delivery.

Why imash exists

Web projects often outlive the team or assumptions that created them. The system still matters, but the original developers may be gone and a rebuild may not be the right answer. imash helps organizations understand what they have, make the next change safely and keep the work moving.

That can mean a new website, a custom tool, an upgrade, a difficult repair or ongoing support. Drupal is Elaman's deepest specialty, but the technology follows the problem.

Principles

How we work

Start with the site you have

Inherited code can be awkward and still worth keeping. We learn why the system works the way it does before recommending a rebuild or replacement.

Elaman stays involved

Elaman scopes the project and remains part of the delivery after the first call.

Your team can inspect the work

Changes land in your repository with the tests, release notes and documentation the project needs.

The work stays with you

Ongoing support is available, while the code and project knowledge remain with your team.

Capabilities

Technical depth where the project needs it

Drupal is the strongest specialization, backed by broader experience across web applications, integrations, infrastructure and delivery.

  • Drupal
  • Drupal upgrades and migrations
  • Custom module development
  • PHP
  • APIs and integrations
  • Automated testing
  • Security and performance
  • CI/CD
  • TypeScript and React
  • Next.js and Astro
  • AWS and Cloudflare
  • Practical AI integration

Working together

How an engagement runs

The starting point changes with the project, but the working relationship stays direct.

  1. Start with the problem

Tell us what you are building, changing or trying to fix. We will ask enough questions to understand the system and the people who depend on it.

  2. Agree the first piece of work

That may be an assessment, a feature, an upgrade phase or a maintenance review. The first scope should solve a real problem on its own.

  3. Build and test

Changes are made in your repository, with the testing, release work and documentation the project needs.

  4. Continue or hand over

Keep working with imash or take the code and documentation forward with your own team.

Who runs it

imash is run by Elaman Imashov, a senior developer with more than 16 years of Drupal experience. He maintains over 30 Drupal contributed projects, has contributed to Drupal core, and works directly with organizations, internal teams and agencies on web and software projects.

Have something to build or fix?

Send a short description of the problem. A quick conversation is usually enough to decide whether imash can help.
