Modernize an aging website without throwing away what still works
Move an old or unsupported website forward while protecting the content, URLs, workflows and integrations that still matter.
The problem
Long-running sites hold more than pages. URLs, search traffic, accounts, business rules and integrations may all depend on the current system. A rushed rebuild can lose useful work; an endless series of patches can cost even more. We inspect what is there before deciding whether to upgrade in place, migrate or replace only part of it.
Work covered
Inventory the content, code, integrations and workflows that shape the current site.
Separate the technical upgrade from redesign and content decisions that do not have to happen at the same time.
Compare an in-place upgrade, a migration and a partial replacement before choosing a route.
Build repeatable migration steps so the result can be tested before the final move.
Verify URLs, permissions, forms, integrations and important workflows before cutover.
Typical deliverables
The exact deliverables follow the scope. These are the usual outputs.
How the work is organized
The sequence changes by service. Scope and timing are agreed before each phase begins.
Phase 1 · before the larger estimate
Assessment
We inspect the current system and identify what must stay, what can change and what needs closer investigation.
Phase 2 · based on the assessment
Upgrade or migration
The new version, migration work and agreed replacements are built and tested against real site data.
Phase 3 · planned with your team
Cutover
We complete the move, verify the important paths and stay available through stabilization.
Common questions
Does an upgrade require a redesign?
No. A technical upgrade, frontend redesign and content rewrite are separate decisions. They can be combined, but they do not have to be.
Can we keep our content, URLs and existing features?
Often, but each needs to be checked. The assessment identifies what can move directly and what needs replacement or cleanup.
Can you quote the whole migration immediately?
Only when the existing system is simple and well documented. Older or heavily customized sites usually need an assessment before a dependable estimate is possible.
